Jef Forward is the President and Creative Director of Forward Design Build Remodel, a small design build firm located in Ann Arbor, Michigan that focuses residential projects while helping people live better in their homes and adding value while doing so.
Jef is the son of a builder and worked his way through a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan by building decks and being a carpenter for a local remodeler. After graduation he spent four years working in local architectural offices but missed the design and building process, so in 1997 he started his company, focusing on a design/build method to ensure successful projects.
Jef brings a passion for the design and construction industry, and above all, helping his clients love their homes in the process. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and tinkering with objects and technology.
